Manus Wong is a second-year English Literature major at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of mar/gins, a NUS student-run literary journal. In his freshman year, he founded Residential College 4’s literary club, OrcaStories, wherein he and his team published the college’s inaugural literary anthology. His research interests include Singapore literature and twentieth-century modernist works—especially those by Virginia Woolf whom all of his friends would have had the (dis)pleasure of hearing him regularly talk about. He also writes poems for fun when he feels particularly disillusioned after having abysmal ban mian for lunch.
